Fourteen years after launching Alta Moda in Taormina, Dolce & Gabbana returned to the Sicilian town for its Fall 2026 Alta Moda collection. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Radicepura Horticultural Park beneath Mount Etna, the show transformed the botanical gardens into a mythical stage where fashion, nature, and Sicilian tradition converged.
A poetic narration opened the evening, introducing the collection’s central theme: the meeting of goddesses, symbols of beauty and fantasy, and devotees, representing faith, ritual, and the enduring spirit of Sicilian women. The show opened with Léonie Cassel, daughter of Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel, wearing a dramatic black tulle ball gown adorned with blooming flowers and carrying a bouquet of blue baby’s breath. It immediately established the collection’s romantic atmosphere.
Flowers remained the defining motif throughout the 99-look presentation. Delicate floral embroidery, sculptural blossoms, and botanical intarsia covered voluminous gowns, while citrus-inspired embellishments paid tribute to Sicily’s iconic lemons and limoncello. The lush garden setting blurred the line between nature and couture, making each look feel like part of the landscape itself.

The finale featured four spectacular gowns in aquamarine, crimson, sherbet, and pale blue, each finished with intricate hand embroidery and dramatic cathedral veils.
