Ami Paris has found its newest global voice in Chinese actor and singer Zhou Yiran. Announced on Monday, the appointment marks a new chapter in the brand’s deepening relationship with the star, who has long been dressed by Ami for red carpets and public appearances.

The move is historic: Zhou is the first-ever Chinese global ambassador for Ami Paris, following South Korean actor Choi Woo-shik’s appointment in 2022. For Alexandre Mattiussi’s brand, Zhou was a “natural choice,” embodying its values through his relaxed confidence and carefree elegance.
The partnership also reflects Ami’s growing presence in China. Backed by Hongshan Capital, the Parisian label now operates 26 points of sale in the country, including its latest opening in Shenyang MixC last March. With Zhou’s massive following — 6.2 million on Weibo and 4.7 million on Douyin — the collaboration signals Ami’s intent to connect even more closely with Chinese consumers.
At just 24, Zhou is one of China’s brightest rising stars. He gained mainstream recognition with roles in hit dramas such as A Little Mood for Love and The Bond, while his 2023 performance in When I Fly Towards You catapulted him into national stardom. His recent projects include Twelve Letters, You Are Desire, and Reborn. Alongside acting, Zhou has also pursued a music career, releasing singles like Thoughts and More Than Friends.
