Fresh off her Oscar win for Anora, Mikey Madison has been named Dior’s first global ambassador since Jonathan Anderson took the helm as creative director of women’s, men’s, and haute couture collections. The announcement comes just weeks before Anderson unveils his debut womenswear collection at Paris Fashion Week on October 1.
“Mikey Madison is an incredibly talented actress. Her empathetic approach perfectly reflects the house of Dior and I am extremely excited to work together,” Anderson told WWD. Madison joins a stellar roster of Dior ambassadors including Jenna Ortega, Jisoo, and Anya Taylor-Joy.
Madison’s relationship with Dior is already well established. On Oscars night, she wore a vintage-inspired pink-and-black Dior column gown from 1956 while accepting the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Anora. The gown blended classic Old Hollywood elegance with playful details, like a delicate bow and exaggerated train—a perfect reflection of her own personality and Anderson’s future vision for the house.

Anderson, appointed in April 2025, is the first designer since Christian Dior to oversee both men’s and women’s collections, including haute couture, ushering in a new era of unified vision at the Maison. His debut menswear collection was unveiled in June at Paris’s Hôtel des Invalides, and anticipation is high for his womenswear debut.
