Bella Hadid, raised in Los Angeles, California, was introduced to the fashion realm by her mother, ex-model Yolanda Hadid. Possessing remarkable looks and stunning catwalks, Bella, with her sister Gigi Hadid, swiftly gained recognition and became one of the highest paid models. With 29 appearances on international Vogue covers and titled “Model of the Year” by Industry’s Vote and Readers’ Choice in 2022, she is one of the most sought after supermodel in the industry. Despite her supermodel status, Bella opted to step away from the modeling industry after a decade-long career. Recently, she opened up to Allure magazine about her choice to prioritize her mental and physical well-being over the past year.

“After 10 years of modeling, I realized I was putting so much energy and love and effort into something that, in the long run, wasn’t necessarily giving it back to me,” she said.
To start a new chapter alongside her partner, Adan Banuelos, she moved to Texas. Bella described this new phase of her life with her loved ones as the “best time,” emphasizing that she no longer feels the need to exert excessive effort when socializing. Even on days when she’s not feeling her best, Bella maintains that having the freedom to choose her daily attire and decide how much time she wants to spend socializing is a refreshing change for her.
“For the first time, I’m being genuine. If I’m not feeling good, I won’t force myself to go out. I prioritize taking time for myself, which is something I’ve never had the opportunity to do before,” Hadid shared with the publication. She further asserted that when people see her in photos and notice her apparent happiness, it’s because she genuinely feels content. “I truly am feeling better now; what I consider bad days currently were what I considered good days before.”

After enduring more than a decade of severe health issues, including “100+ days of Lyme, chronic illness, [co-infection] treatment, and nearly 15 years of silent suffering,” she revealed her battle with Lyme disease on Instagram in August, expressing that she is “finally healthy.”
After the move, Bella’s passion for entrepreneurship and interest in health motivated her to explore different fields. Besides a fragrance line that she recently debuted, Orebella, she is also a co-founder of Kin Euphorics, a new category of non-alcoholic drinks & spirits.
