On the Furiosa: A Max Max Saga press tour, Anya Taylor-Joy took method dressing to another level in her Australia premiere in Sydney. The actress embraced a fierce warrior aesthetic wearing a metallic chain-linked minidress adorned with numerous individual spears extending from the sides. The dress, sourced from Paco Rabanne’s Spring 1996 Couture Collection, exuded a powerful yet divine presence. Completing the ensemble was a coordinating spiked headpiece, originally presented alongside the dress during its runway debut.

Her attire showcased the late designer’s iconic chainmail fabric, meticulously crafted by hand in his Paris workshop, incorporating both silver and gold metals. However, what truly elevated the ensemble were the array of pointed and gilded arrows adorning the skirt and headpiece. These spears protruded from the sides of the garment, explaining why her Furiosa co-star Chris Hemsworth maintained a slight distance as they posed together, as well as emerging from atop her metallic cap. This dress is also not really suited for sitting comfortably, considering the abundance of slender spears protruding from it, starting at the hip. The actress allowed her plunging couture dress to take center stage, complementing it with understated glamor and transparent PVC pumps.
