Milan is not only the fashion capital of the world but also a haven for designer deals if you know where to look. In this guide, I’ll take you through some of my favorite designer outlets in the city, where you can find high-end fashion items at massive discounts. From chic shoes and bags to timeless ready-to-wear collections, these stores offer incredible bargains. Plus, I’ll share how to maximize your savings with a handy tax refund tip after your purchase!

  1. DMAG Outlet – Via Allessandro Mazoni 44

DMAG outlet is the outlet for designer items ranging from shoes, clothes, hats, bags, and belts. Most of the products are at least 200 Euros and 50 – 70% off their original prices. They are all in good to great condition (especially the bags I think they’re brand new).

  1. DMAG Outlet – Via Bigli 4

This DMAG outlet has two floors with a wider price range compared to the one via Allessandro Mazoni. They also include entry-level luxury brands in this outlet and they offer a great variety of ready-to-wear collections on the second floor. Moreover, this store also offers options for kids besides sections for men and women.

  1. DMAG Outlet – Via Vincenzo Forcella 13

When I came to the store, I could not find the way to enter even though on Google Maps it says “open”. The store is in the Navigili District, near the Armani Silos. However, it is more isolated compared to two other locations.

  1. Highline Outlet

The Highline outlet is one of the biggest outlets I have ever been to. However, it does not specialize in designer pieces but rather items at a huge range of prices. There is a section for clothes at 9,99 Euros and a wide variety of statement pieces for special occasions. Moreover, I am extremely impressed by their selection of winter coats as well as shoes. The diversity is top-notch compared to the other outlets.

Luca Di Say Wow – Private Sales:

Lastly, I went to a private sales organized by Luca Di Say Wow. After registering for it, I went to the private sales with countless discounted designer products.

Honorable Mentions: BIVIO

Except for clothes that you could thrift for under 10 Euros, BIVIO has a section for designer clothes at an extremely discounted price. These clothes are often monotone and come in sets with exquisite details and vintage styles. I came there twice and on the second time, I bought a really cute polka dot Moschino pair of heels at 145 Euros for my sister’s birthday and a vintage green skirt for my outfit in Milan City Fashion Week.

How to get Tax Refund:

Getting a tax refund on designer goodies in Europe is easier than you might think! First things first, make sure you’re a non-EU resident and that your total purchase hits the magic number—usually around €175-€200—at one store. When you’re splurging on that gorgeous handbag or those stylish shoes, just ask the cashier for a Tax Refund Form. They’ll need your passport info, so have that handy! After you fill it out, hang onto those receipts because you’ll need them.

When it’s time to leave Europe, swing by the customs office at the airport with your items and the stamped form. They’ll give you a stamp on your form that’s like a golden ticket! You can either drop the stamped form at a tax refund counter at the airport for an instant refund or mail it back to the store or a service like Global Blue. Just a heads up: the refund can take a few weeks to hit your account, so be patient! Enjoy your shopping spree, and don’t forget to grab that refund before you head home!

Exploring Milan’s designer outlets is like a treasure hunt, with each store offering its own unique finds. Whether you’re after classic pieces or bold statement looks, there’s something for every fashion lover. Don’t forget to follow my guide on claiming a tax refund to make your shopping spree even sweeter! So, if you’re ever in Milan, be sure to check out these outlets—you never know what fashion gems you’ll uncover. Happy shopping!
